The story

With a floor-to-ceiling window on the twelfth floor, the room's best feature was already installed. Our job was to frame it: the bed faces the skyline, the wall behind it carries a channel-tufted upholstered panel, and the curtains run in two tracks — sheer for the day, blackout for sleep.

A full dressing wall with mirrored shutters doubles the daylight, and bedside pendants freed the side tables for books instead of lamps.
